Excellent Service

“Brilliant service from Jon the barman; witty banter and a kind personality that not a lot of London bar staff have these days. Just moved to the area and will definitely be coming back more frequently.”

Great pub for a quiet Summer drink!

“Just moved to the area and went here for a few after work drinks last night. The building itself is lovely but we sat in the fantastic outdoor area. The food was great for the price and service was fast. The pub has a welcoming atmosphere, all the staff were very friendly and chatty – special mention to John who served our table. Will definitely be back again (and again).”

Great beer and food

“The Heineken takes like they have a pipe straight from the Amsterdam factory and a bargain at just over £5 a pint. Food was tasty and well priced too. Next time I’m in Woolwich, this will be my first stop!”

Delicious Sunday Lunch

“Just had the Roast Chicken Sunday lunch, which was delicious. I would of taken a picture but I was too busy eating!! 11 of us turned up and were seated early, had brilliant service… all that remains now is desert (crumble & custard).”

“Proper meeting place, great pub/restaurant and delicious food. This place deserves its status as the best in that area.”
